Fixed price, in writing
Get a Fixed Quote
Ask for a gutter cleaning quote in Melbourne here and you'll get one written, fixed price for the whole job, usually by the next business day. It works for a single storey unit in Reservoir, a double storey home in Doncaster East, a strata complex or a warehouse roof. Tell us the address and what needs doing; we measure the roof from aerial imagery and send the price. Want a sense of the numbers first? The breakdown on how our prices are set explains it. For everything else we do, see the roof and gutter cleaning home page.
How do I get my fixed quote in two minutes?
Fill in the address, the type of property, the number of storeys and the jobs you want done, then add photos if you have them. That's all we need to measure the roof and price it. The only required field is the address, plus an email so the price reaches you.
The form, explained
What do we need from you, and why?
Each question on the form removes a guess from the price. The address lets us see the roof; storeys and roof material decide the access and method; trees tell us how full the gutters are likely to be; and photos show the details aerial imagery can't.
| Field | Why we ask |
|---|---|
| Address | Lets us measure gutter length, valleys and roof area from above, and see access from the street |
| Property type and storeys | Sets the equipment and how the crew reaches the gutters safely |
| Roof material | Decides the washing method if a roof clean is included, and how much we can walk on it |
| Trees near the roof | The best guide to how much debris is sitting in the gutters now |
| Photos | Show the back of the house, the gutters themselves and any damage, which imagery can miss |
| Notes | Gates, pets, tanks, pools and when the gutters were last done all change the plan for the day |
Behind the scenes
How can you quote from just an address?
Aerial imagery shows the whole roof from above, so gutter runs, valleys and downpipe positions can be measured accurately. Street-level photos then confirm storeys, roofing and what sits under each gutter, which on a typical house is all it takes to commit to a figure without a site visit.
Strata complexes and commercial buildings are the exception. Box gutters behind parapets, roof hatches and anchor points don't always show up from above, so for those sites we may ask for photos or book a short walk-through with the manager before the quote goes out. You'll be told on the day you ask if that's needed.
After you accept
What happens between the quote and clean gutters?
Once you accept the quote, we book a date, confirm access a day or two before, and the crew arrives with everything needed. After the job you receive the photo report, then the invoice. If the weather turns, the date moves and the quoted price stays the same.

Quote questions
What do people ask before requesting a quote?
Two questions come up more than any others at this stage: whether the quote costs anything, and whether someone needs to come out and look at the roof first.
